West Brom Seek Permission To Speak To Hibs Boss Tony Mowbray!

English Championship side West Brom have approached Hibs for permission to speak to manager Tony Mowbray.

West Brom have been in the hunt for a new manager since the departure of England legend Bryan Robson.

Mowbray recently signed a new rolling contract at Hibs and it remains to be seen if the West Brom job would interest him, after he turned down the Ipswich job, a club he loves and was at for NINE years, in favour of staying at Hibs and citing "Unfinished business".

Tony Mowbray would be a massive loss to the club and a massive blow to the Hibs support, after Mowbray guided the club to 3rd and back into
Europe in his first season. He then guided the club to a 4th place finish last season and has built the most exciting Hibs teams in decades.

A spokesman for West Brom said:

"Hibernian is one of a number of clubs from whom Albion has sought permission to speak to its manager regarding the managerial vacancy at The Hawthorns."
