Alan Stubbs agrees to become Rotherham boss

Hibs boss Alan Stubbs has tonight agreed to become the new manager of Rotherham United.

The former Everton youth coach has agreed a 3-year-deal with the English Championship club, and will join subject to compensation being agreed.

It means Stubbs last act as manger of Hibs, was to end the hoodoo and bring home the club's first Scottish Cup win in 114 years.

Stubbs has been in charge of the Hibees for 100 games, but will now be unvieled as new Rotherham boss tommorow.

Hibs are expected to land £150,000 in compensation.

Hibs will now start the search for his replacement, with the likes of Owen Coyle, Tommy Wright, John Hughes and Russell Latapy already being linked with Easter Road.
