Alex Cleland to become new reserve coach at Hibs????

Last updated : 29 May 2007 By Steve Forbes

According to some areas of today's press Hibs could be about to approach former Everton, Rangers and Dundee Utd full back Alex Cleland about the vacant reserve team coach position, following Mark Proctor's appointment as Livingston manager.

Cleland recently left his post as Livingston's youth coach and could be about to move in the opposite direction from Proctor and take up the job at Easter Road.

Hibs boss John Collins is a former team mate of Cleland, having played for Everton at the same time as the ex Rangers full back and he may ask him to become part of his back room staff at the Hibees.

Collins apparently has a number of names drawn up to replace Proctor and Cleland seems to be the front runner at the moment.
