More sad news for the Hibees off the back of the shock news that owner Ron Gordon passed away last week.

Former Hibs and Morton striker Allan McGraw has passed away aged 83.

McGraw signed for the Hibees in 1966 for £15,000, after scoring over 100 goals for Morton.

He went on to play 90 times for the Easter Road giants, scoring 22 goals.

McGraw played on the Inter City Fairs Cup in famous games against the likes of Napoli, Leeds United and Porto.

He missed the 1969 League Cup Final defeat to Celtic, after scoring the winner against Dundee in the semi fonal.

He left Hibs in 1969 and had a short spell with Irish side Linfield before returning home to finish his career with Morton.

McGraw also managed Morton for a number of years.

His son Mark, was of course part of the Hibees 1991 League Cup winning side.

Hibs-Mad would like to offer our condolences to Allan's family at this sad time
