Hibs have today confirmed that Brian Rice has been appointed assistant manager at the club.
Former Hibs defender follows new boss John Hughes to Easter Road from Falkirk.
Rice is delighted to be back at the Hibees, and speaking to the official website, he said:
"I am absolutely delighted to be back at Hibernian - I never thought I'd come here in a coaching capacity, it really is a wonderful feeling. I've been away on holiday and completing my UEFA qualifications, and it has been a very long three weeks! My role involves being the key support to the Manager, and I'm very excited about working in such a great set-up and with the wonderful young talent at the Club."
