Burnley have today been linked with a move for Hibs strike pair Jason Cummings and Dominique Malonga.

According to reports from south of the border, the Clarets have had both of Hibs strikers watched over the last few months.

A number of scouts were also in attendance at Easter Road on Saturday, as the Hibees failed to overcome Rangers in the play-off semi final, despite winning 1-0 through a Cummings goal.

Malonga hit 16 goals this season, after joining the Hibees in September, following an injury to main striker Farid El Alagui that seen the Moroccan miss most of the season.

26-year-old Malonga joined on a free from Italian side Cesena, having just spent the previous season on loan in Spain with Murcia.

19-year-old Cummings finished top goalscorer in he Scottish Championship, and hit 21 goals for the season in all competitions.

Cummings was still playing Juvenile football 18 months ago, with Hutchison Vale, after he was released by Hearts following an injury.

After a goal laden season, Hibs took a chance on the youngster and he hasn't looked back. He broke through into the first team last season, after scoring 40+ goals at youth level, and grabbed a couple of goals in the play offs against Hamilton Accies.

The Hibees turned down a number of bids from Swansea City last summer, with the highest said to be £200,000.

Burnley will be out to boost their attacking options, as star man Danny Ings is set to leave Turf Moor after a superb season in the English Premiership.
