Hibs have this afternoon found out their opponents for the 3rd round of the Co-operative Insurance Cup.
The Hibees have been handed a home tie against SPL new boys St Johnstone, managed by Derek McInnes.
The game will be played on Tuesday 22nd September 2009, with a 7.45pm kick off.
Hibs will be hoping they do better than last season, when they were knocked out at the first attempt by 1st division side Morton, losing 4-3 in extra time.
The Hibees last won the competition in 2007, with a 5-1 win over Kilmarnock at Hampden.
