Hibs have this afternoon been drawn against Brechin City, in the 2nd round of the Co-Operative Insurance Cup.
Brechin, managed by former Hibs boss Jim Duffy, travel to Easter Road on the evening of either Tuesday 25th or Wednesday 26th August 2009.
The Hibees will be looking to improve on last season’s humiliating defeat, at the hands of Greenock Morton at the first hurdle of last season’s competition.
Losing the game 4-3 after extra time at Easter Road.
