Ex Hibs defender Thierry Gatheussi hits out at Mixu Paatelainen!

Former Hibs defender Thierry Gatheussi has today hit out at the way former boss Mixu Paatelainen treated him at Easter Road.

Gatheussi, 26, was released from his contract at Easter Road last week, so he could sign immediately for Inverness Caledonian Thistle until the end of the season.

Paatelainen clearly viewing the Cameroon international full back as surplus to requirements.

Gatheussi said:

"John Collins brought me to Hibs and then Mixu Paatelainen arrived. I continued to play a part under him until the end of last season and I felt I had played well for the club.

"There was no hint of any problem between us until two weeks before the end of the transfer window in August. Then he suddenly told me it would be good for me if I left because he wasn't going to play me again.

"That was very difficult to take. I had played for him before the end of last season, so I thought everything was all right. So I felt very, very angry towards him."

Gatheussi arrived at Easter Road in the summer of 2007 and becomes the latest John Collins signing to be shown the exit door at Easter Road by Paatelainen.

Clayton Donaldson, Mickael Antoine-Curier, Filipe Morais, Patrick Noubissie and Brian Kerr, as well as Gatheussi have all been freed by Paatelainen recently.
