Former Hibby's in the news

Two former Hibs midfielders are in the news today, having tied themselves up with new clubs.

Former captain Liam Craig has returned to St Johnstone following his release from Easter Road in the summer.

Craig, 28, of course, played for the Perth side between 2007 and 2013, before joining the Hibees on a pre-contract.

He has signed a 1-year-deal with St Johnstone.

Also in the news is another former midfielder - Paul Cairney.

The 27-year-old former Queens Park and Partick Thistle player has signed with League One side Stranraer.

Cairney left Easter Road last summer after the club was relegated, and signed for Premiership club Kilmarnock on a 2-year-deal.

However, Killie let the player leave the club in the summer, and he has now joined the Stair Park club.
