Former Hibs coach Mark Proctor sacked by Livingston

Last updated : 03 June 2008 By Steve Forbes

Former Hibs coach Mark Proctor has tonight been sacked as manager of Livingston Football Club.

This comes only one day after
Livingston have been bought over by an Italian consortium, headed by businessman Angelo Massone.

Proctor has been in charge of Livi for just one year, a year in which they finished a disappointing 7th in the Scottish First Division.

Livingston had not been allowed to sign players due to a transfer embargo placed on them by the Scottish Football League, after they refused to pay up the contract of former player Emmanuel Dorado

The former
Darlington player left Hibs to become Livingston's new manager, after a stint as coach at Easter Road.

He was brought to Hibs by former manager Tony Mowbray and actually had 3 games in charge of the Hibees as "caretaker manager" after Mowbray left to take up the reigns at
West Brom.

Overseeing 1 win, 1 draw, and 1 loss. The win was a thumping 4-1 win over
Dunfermline at East End Park, which seen some sections of the Hibs support calling for Proctor to be named new manager.

Good luck to Mark, wherever he ends up, from everyone here Hibernian-mad.
