Freed Hibs midfielder Patrick Noubissie on trial at Yeovil Town

Freed Hibernian midfielder Patrick Noubissie has been handed a chance to earn a deal with English League One side Yeovil Town.

Noubissie, 24, has been offered the chance to spend his pre-season with Yeovil in an attempt to win a deal with the
Huish Park side.

The French midfielder arrived at Hibs after impressing then Hibs boss John Collins in a closed door game with
Livingston last summer. He was on the verge of signing for the first division side, but Collins pounced at the last minute and signed him on a three-year-deal.

Noubissie was then immediately loaned out to
Livingston until January to gain match fitness, but returned early in October after only playing 7 games for the Almondvale outfit due to injury.

When he returned in January he only played 4 times for the Hibees before new gaffer Mixu Paatelainen sent Noubissie straight back out on loan to another first division side, this time it was Dens Park and Dundee.

He played 9 games for Dundee but was not offered a contract in the summer, then was freed by Paatelainen as he looks to re-build his squad in time for the 2008/09 SPL kick off in August.

Noubissie has also played for
Grimsby Town, Crewe Alexandra, Stockport County and Swindon Town.

He has also played for French sides CS Brétigny-sur-Orge, Le Mée-sur-Seine
SF, US Roye and CS Sedan Ardennes.

Noubissie will also be joined on trial at Yeovil with another couple of players in an attempt to win a contract.

Yeovil manager Gary Slade, speaking to the official
Yeovil Town website said:

"We've invited the lads up to join us for pre-season so we can have a good look at them.

"Pre-season is always an interesting time and you'd be surprised at the activity that goes on during this period. I hope the lads will have the opportunity to shine and give a true indication of their ability."

Noubissie never really got a chance at Hibs, but good luck to the lad from everyone at Hibernian-Mad.
