According to the an Australian based football magazine the Hibees have landed English full back Joe Keenan.
The former Chelsea, Brentford, Melbourne Victory, VC Westerlo and Willem II defender has been on trial at the Hibees new £5m state-of-the-art training facility and has apparently impressed boss Mixu Paatelainen.
According to Four Four Two magazine, Keenan has signed a two-year-deal at Easter Road after being released by Australian side Melbourne Victory and will become Hibs second summer arrival, after the pre-contract signing of St Mirren full back David Van Zanten.
The Hibees have apparently beaten another Australian side, Newcastle Jets, to the left backs signature.
There is no official word from Hibs yet, so this could just be the rumour mill kicking in.
