Hibs 1-0 Middlesbrough

ATT: 9082

Hibs won their final pre-season friendly this afternoon with a 1-0 win over English Premiership side Middlesbrough.

Ross Campbell got the winner in the 90th minute, after Benji produced a sublime piece of control, before playing it across goal for Ross Campbell to tap in.

Boro put up a much stiffer test to the Hibees than
Bolton did on Wednesday night, but Hibs finally came good in the last minute after plenty second half pressure, after Boro dominated the first half.

Hibs new signing Filipe Morais was impressive, after stepping off the bench, and done his chances of an SPL debut in the Edinburgh Derby kick off at Tynecastle next Monday night no harm at all.

The Hibs team was:

Ma-Kalambay
McCann (Morais)
Murphy (Jones)
Hogg
Joneleit
Kerr (Gathuessi)
Shiels (Zemmama)
Chisholm (Boozy)
Fletcher (Benji)
Donaldson (Campbell)
Stevenson (Lynch)
