Hibs 1-2 Wigan

Hibs played their first pre-season game this evening, as they played English League One side Wigan Athletic.

The game was played behind closed doors at the Hibees training camp in La Manga, Spain. The Latics, managed by former Hibs defender Gary Caldwell, are using the same training faciliy.

The Hibees took the lead through former Wigan midfielder Fraser Fyvie after 13 minutes, and that's how the score stayed until half time.

After a number of changes at half time, the Hibees very young side for the second half couldn't hold out.

Waghorn equalised for Wigan on the 70th minute, then he grabbed a second, and the winner, on the 90th minute.

The Hibs starting line-up was:

Oxley, Dunsmore, Hanlon, Fontaine, Crane, Fyvie, S.Allan, Handling, Martin, Malonga, L.Allan.

The team for the second half was:

Reguero, Gray, Forster, Stevenson, Dunsmore, Harris, Martin, Stanton, Crane, Cummings, L.Allan.
