Hibs 200k bid for Crewe midfielder Ryan Wintle rejected

Last updated : 02 October 2020 By Steve Forbes

According to Sky Sports Journo Keith Downie (@SkySports_Keith) on twitter, Hibs have had an offer of £200,000 rejected by Crewe Alexandra.

The League One side have rejected an offer from the Hibees, as manager Jack Ross continues to try to boster his squad.

The Hibees are close to signing St Mirren midfielder Kyle Magennis in a £170,000 deal, and it seems the Hibees spending isn't finished.

Wintle, 23, is a big player for the English side, and it remains to be seen if Hibs will go back in with another offer after being rejected.

He has played over 130 games for the Alex, scoring 9 goals.

Once again proof the Hibees mean business this season.

The manager is being backed by American owner Ron Gordon, and it's certainly an exciting time to be a Hibee.

Will we go back in? Let's wait and see.
