Hibs - Early season ticket sales pass the 5,000 Mark

Hibs have revealed today that they have already sold 5,000 season tickets for next season’s campaign.

The clubs 11 month, interest free, payment plan has proved very popular amongst the supporters, and with a new sense of optimism following the turn around in the clubs fortunes on the field, it has seen the sales go through the roof.

There is also a chance the sales could be boosted even more, with the “Early Bird Cup Top-Up” offer still running.

Hibs expect the figure to rocket considerably before the Friday 5pm deadline.

Club Director Fyfe Hyland said:

"Victor Palsson, Matt Thornhill, Martin Scott, Richie Towell and Akpo Sodje have all had a positive impact while fans have also seen the emergence of Callum Booth and have had a glimpse of both Ricardo Vaz Te and Jakub Divis. The supporters have seen the calibre of player the manager wants to bring to Easter Road and they have been doing what was asked of them in buying season tickets. Hopefully many more will do so."

The Hibees are hopeful that the final figure will be more than the 9,000 sold last season.
