Hibs have tonight accepted an offer from Millwall for star striker Kevin Nisbet.
The Hibees have agreed a deal with the London club, six months after a deal fell through when the Scotland international pulled out of the deal at the last minute.
Nisbet pulled out of the deal claiming it was too soon after his injury and he wasn't sure if he was ready, but the hitman proved himself, scoring 12 goals in 20 games since his return.
So far no fee has been revealed, but the deal in January was £2m up-front with 500k in add-ons and a sell-on fee, with any deal likely to be pretty similair.
Nisbet is now expected to enter talks with the English Championship club, even though he is currently on holiday.
However, Millwall might not get it all their way this time, with Blackburn Rovers and Turkish giants Galatasaray waiting in the wings, amd Preston North End and Bristol City also linked.
The Turkish side have had Nisbet watched over the last few weeks and have been impressed.
HIBS-MAD VIEW:
Losing Nizzy will be a sore one to take, but it was always going to happen this summer.
The striker has been attracting loads of interest, and with only one year left on his contract, Hibs will want to cash in.
Nisbet has scored 40 goals in 101 games since signing from Dunfermline in a £300,000 deal in 2020.
The Hibees will also have to spend some cash to replace him.
