Hibs have today announced that Leith based property investment firm MCEWAN FRASER will be the clubs new main sponsor, starting from next season.
The club has agreed a 2-year-deal with the local company, who's co-founder Scott Fraser is a daft Hibby, and ends the current sponsorship deal with Whyte and Mackay.
Fraser is a former professional footballer, who played for Rangers, East Fife, Berwick Rangers and Cowdenbeath, as well as a spell in Australia.
He played 14 first team games for the Ibrox club.
Whyte and Mackay have been the main club sponsor for five years now and Hibs must be delighted that they have been able to secure a new sponsor in the current financial climate.
The deal runs until June 2011 and should see the Hibees at least equal the deal they had with Whyte and Mackay.
Hibs Chief Executive Scott Lindsay was delighted, and speaking to the official club website,

With all areas of revenue under pressure, and in an increasingly competitive sponsorship market, we are delighted to have secured a main sponsor at a value that is in line with the levels previously enjoyed by the Club. We welcome another new sponsor to the Hibernian family - especially one that has such a first hand knowledge of professional football combined with real ambition for their business. This new deal delivers vital sponsorship income for the club, whilst offering McEwan Fraser a key marketing tool as they continue to develop their business from strength-to-strength. Everyone at the Club is looking forward to working with them."
This news comes on the back of two more recent sponsorship deals that the Hibees board have secured during these difficult times.
F&C Investments have just extended their short sponsorship deal with the club, and Hibs have also agreed a deal with the clubs main security firm, G4S Events, who will have their logo plastered over the Easter Road tunnel.
