Hibs boss John Hughes has re-entered the race to sign former loanee Alan Gow.
Hughes snapped up Darryl Duffy on loan from Bristol Rovers last night, and with Anthony Stokes set to complete a £1.2m move to Celtic today, is keen to replace him with Gow. Gow, 27, spent some time on loan at the Hibees from Plymouth Argyle last season, one which was plagued by injury, but he is now a free agent after his release from the League One side. Swindon Town, Motherwell and St Mirren have all offered the player a deal, but it’s though Gowser is keen to re-join the Hibees.
IF Hibs fail to sign Gow, it’s thought Hughes will move for Dutch striker Romano Denneboom, recently released by SC Heerenveen.
Hibs are also set to clinch the signing of Ghanaian defender Francis Dickoh, on a one-year deal from Dutch Eredivisie side FC Utrecht today.
