Hibs bid rejected for Barnsley defender Tony Sibbick

According to SportsMail, Hibs have had an offer kocked back for Barnsley defender Tony Sibbick.

The 22-year-old is expected to leave Oakwell this month, in order to get first team football, but right now it won't be Hibs.

Sibbick can play anywhere across the back-line, and his versatility is what apparently attracted Hibs interest.

The 6ft 2in defender started his career with AFC Wimbledon, before moving to Barnsley.

Sibbick then had a spell on loan with Hearts, but he only managed 2 games in Gorgie, in a loan spell riddled with injury and illness.

He then returned to Barnsley and has amassed over 50 games, but has found himself out-of-favour recently.

Hiberniam-Mad View:

Sibbick has some decent pedigree, and seemms highly rated  by his parent club, but will also need to leave to get game time.

Hibs have bid, will they go back in?

This one is a wait and see?
