Hibs boss John Hughes has today insisted that the Hibees must get back to winning ways this weekend.

The Hibees travel to New Douglas Park, on Saturday, to face Hamilton Accies, who are on a decent run under boss Billy Reid.

Hamilton came out victorious the last time Hughes’ travelled to face the Accies, with a 2-0 triumph, and Hughes is hoping the Hibees recent poor form can be turned around.

A win for Hibs would put pressure on fellow Europa League challengers Motherwell & Dundee United, and Hughes is hoping that his side grab the three points.

He said:

"We have got to get back to winning ways, there is no doubt about it," he told Edinburgh Evening News.

"There is disappointment and frustration from the players but there is no point in dwelling on what happened against Celtic, our sole focus and concentration this week must be on Hamilton, Hamilton and Hamilton.

"They are a right good side and I never for a minute thought that they would be in danger of being relegated.

"If we are going to beat them on Saturday then we have to be right at ourselves and keep our heads.

"There have been one or two bits and pieces in the last couple of weeks that I have picked up on that I think we could improve.

"We've maybe given away penalties or silly fouls, picked up daft bookings and all of these things can come back to bite you, especially in terms of suspensions.

"It's something that I will mention to the boys in the dressing room and make them aware of.

"If we could get back on track and get that European place that would be great for the club."
