Hibs boss John Collins has this afternoon resigned as manager of the club with immediate effect!

Coming just one day after the opening of the clubs spectacular new £5m training ground the manager has walked out on the club.

Details as to why he has quit are still unknown, but he has been linked with the
Scotland job in the last couple of weeks, could this be the reason??

He apparently told the squad of his decision at training on Thursday.

Although rumours doing the rounds already are suggesting he resigned, after Hibs turned down his request for transfer money in the January transfer window.

We will find out soon enough!!

Collins has been in charge for little over a year and won Hibs their first trophy in 16 years, when he landed the CIS League Cup last year.
