Hibs boss Mixu Paatelainen wins SPL Manager of the Month!

Hibs boss Mixu Paatelainen has landed the SPL Manager of the Month award for February.

The former Hibees hitman landed the award after leading his side to four wins and a draw in five games in the SPL.

Hibs started the month with a 1-1 draw with Dundee Utd up at Tannadice, which was followed with a 4-2 home win over Gretna, the Hibees then beat Aberdeen 3-1 at Easter Road.

Another win, 2-0 over Inverness Caledonian Thistle at home was next up, Mixu then registered a 2-0 midweek win over Falkirk away from home to complete a superb month for the new Hibernian manager.

Mixu's award has quickly followed the award of Young Player of the Month for February that Hibs forward Steven Fletcher scooped just two days ago, marking a superb turn around in the club's fortunes.
