Hibs boss Neil Lennon has been hit with a two game ban for his part in the touchline bust-up against Morton.

Lennon had words with players and staff of Morton, including manager Jim Duffy, following a horrendous tackle by Morton striker Kudus Oyenuga on Hibs defender Jordon Forster.

It caused a huge rammy, with players and officials from both sides involved, that ended with both Oyenuga and Hibs defender Darren McGregor being sent off.

McGregor later had his red reduced to a yellow on appeal.

Morton boss Duffy was hit with a two-game ban (with another 1 game suspended) last week, and now Lennon has been handed the same punishment.

Lennon will also face a further, suspended, two game ban, should he be in trouble again before the end of the calendar year

Hibs have also been hit with a £750 fine, with a further suspended fine of £250, also reliant on no further incidents before the end of the calendar year.

Lennon will miss tonight's clash with Raith Rovers and Saturday's trip to Ayr United, but will be back in time for the last game of the season against St Mirren, as the Hibees get presented with the League Championship trophy at Easter Road.
