Hibs boss Neil Lennon has tonight confirmed that the club is closing in on the signing of striker Jamie Maclaren.
The Aussie international was a massive hit on loan at Easter Road last season, and the club has been working behind the scenes to secure his signing.
Maclaren was with the Australia squad for the World Cup this summer but failed to make an appearance for the Socceroos.
"Jamie, very close. Close enough," Hibs boss Lennon told BBC Scotland after the Hibees progressed past Asteras Tripolis in the Europa League.
"That'd be another body in, another forward, and take the pressure off Florian Kamberi and Martin Boyle."
It's unclear wether the deal would be another loan or permanent, but rumours on social media in the last few days point to a permanent deal.
