Hibs are said to be close to completing a loan deal for Manchester United defender Will Fish.
According to the Manchester Evening News, the English giants have decided to allow the 20-year-old to return to Easter Road.
The deal is expected to be completed next week, with Fish included in the United squad that will play Leeds United in Oslo tonight, and he is also expected to be in the squad when they play Lyon at Edinburgh's BT Murrayfield next Wednesday.
Fish will then stay behind after the game to complete his return to Easter Road.
He should be signed in time to take part in the Hibees pre-season friendly with Dutch side FC Gronigen at Easter Road on the 21st of July.
Fish actually failed to break into the Hibs team until around January last season, after Ryan Porteous joined Watford in a £500,000 deal.
He went on to play 21 games and scored 3 goals, becoming an integral part of the side that qualified for Europe.
Hibs are said to have have beaten off competiton from Aberdeen and Birmingham City.
HIBS-MAD VIEW
This would be another massive signing for the club, should we get it across the line.
Fish quickly established himself as a first choice in the side last season, and became a massive fans favourite.
His return would be another massive statement of intent from the club.
Let's hope we get it done.
