Hibs have been handed some good news ahead of this weekend’s clash with Rangers at Easter Road. It’s been revealed that defender Ian Murray has NOT passed over the SPL disciplinary threshold, meaning he is free to play in the up coming Edinburgh derby, against Hearts at Easter Road. Murray first feared that he would be ruled out of the derby, following a booking against Celtic at Parkhead on Saturday, but the good news is that he will not miss out, and help ease, slightly, the Hibees injury and suspension crisis. Hibs boss John Hughes was delighted, he said: "We weren't sure of the situation until yesterday afternoon but we're delighted that Ian is going to be available for the derby.
"He plays a big part in everything that we do at this club.
"We know that he's obviously not far away from a ban so he's going to have to watch what he's doing in the final games of the season."

The bad news is, however, that Sol Bamba, Darren McCormack and Kevin McBride are all suspended for the derby.
