Hibs defender Jordon Forster signs new deal

Hibs have today revealed that young central defender Jordon Forster has signed a new deal with the club.

The 19-year-old has signed a new, 3-year-deal ,contract until the summer of 2016.

Forster made his debut against Hearts at Tynecastle last season, impressing in a 1-2 win.

He also played in the Scottish Cup Final against Celtic at Hampden in May, and has started the last two games for the Hibees.

Speaking to the club's official website, the youngster said:

"It's great to have the security of a long-term contract and now I can just concentrate on performing well for Hibs and helping us to progress on the pitch.

"I feel I'm learning with each and every game and my goal is to achieve success with Hibs."

Boss Terry Butcher added:

"I think Jordon has done tremendously well. He is going to be a very good player and he is already a very good player."
