Hibs defender Josh Doig nominated for SFWA YPOTY

Young Hibs defender Josh Doig has tonight been nominted for the Scottish Football Writers' Young Player of the Year award.

Doig, 18, has been nominated along with Lewis Ferguson (Aberdeen), Nathan Patterson (Rangers) and David Turnbull (Celtic).

The Hibees youngster has had an outstanding season, with the likes of Arsenal, Leicester City, Leeds United, Man City and Celtic having been credited with an interest in the player.

Doig has made 32 appearances, scoing 1 goal for the club this season.
