Hibs defender Rocky Bushiri linked with Nottingham Forest

According to a report from Africa Foot, Hibs defender Rocky Bushiri could be on the move this coming January.

The report suggests that English Premiership side Nottingham Forest are ready to swoop for the Congo international.

It also claims that first contact has been made between Forest and the Hibees, and that the Easter Road hierarchy have given Bushiri permission to talk to the English side.

Forest are expected to offer a 4-year-deal to the 25-year-old former Norwich City defender.

Bushiri has been excellent for Hibs again this season, and only signed a 3-year-deal this past summer, and it will take a big fee to secure his services.

HIBS-MAD VIEW

It would be a huge blow to lose Rocky this January, but a move to the Premiership and the massive wages on offer, would be too much to ignore.

However, the club is in a good position, with 2-and-a-half years still left on his contract when the window opens, it's going to take a big, big offer to prise him away from Edinburgh.
