Hibs draw Queens Park in CIS Cup 2nd Round!

Hibs lift the CIS Cup in March: Let's hope for more of the same this season!

Hibs have this afternoon been handed a quick return to Hampden in the CIS Cup 2nd Round draw.

The Hibees have been drawn against 2nd division
Queens Park in there defence of the trophy they won at Hampden in March, after a 5-1 thrashing of Kilmarnock in the final.

The tie against the "Spiders" will be played on either Tuesday 28th or Wednesday 29th of August 2007.

Hibs won't face an easy task, Queens Park knocked Aberdeen out of last season's competition.

The draw was made at Easter Road earlier this afternoon and the full draw is as follows:

Motherwell v Raith Rovers
Queen's Park v Hibernian
Dundee v Livingston
Peterhead v Kilmarnock
Dundee United v Ross County
Montrose v Falkirk
Gretna v Cowdenbeath
Stirling Albion v Hearts
St. Mirren v East Fife
Berwick Rangers v Hamilton Academical
Inverness Cal. Th. v Arbroath
Partick Thistle v St. Johnstone

Scotland's European representatives, Dunfermline, Aberdeen, Rangers and Celtic all received a bye.
