According to reports coming out of France, Hibs are in for Le Harve midfielder Amos Youga.
L'Equipe have claimed the Hibees, along with English League One side Barnsley, have contacted the French Ligue 2 outfit about the 27-year-old.
It's not clear if Le Harve, who are managed by former Rangers manager Paul Le Guen, are willing to let the player leave, and if so, if it would be a loan deal or permanent.
Youga is out-of-contract in the summer, so he could be signed on a pre-contract now, then possibly a deal could be struck for a small fee.
Hibs will now have to apparently fight it out with Barnsley for his signature.
Youga has played 15 times for his country and has previously been with Lyon, Vannes and Gazelec Ajaccio.

On paper Youga looks to be exactly the type of player Hibs are crying out for in midfield.
He is an absolute unit of a guy, standing at 6ft 2in and weighing in at over 13 stone.
The kind of defensive midfielder Hibs have lacked since Marvin Bartley left the club during the summer.
Hibs boss Jack Ross has said he is hopeful of signing two players this week. One looks like being Paul McGinn, is Youga the other?
