Hibs have today been involved in TWO European draws to determine future possible foes.
The Hibees enter Europe once again this coming Thursday, with a trip to Denmark to face FC Midtjylland in the first leg of the 2nd Qualifying Round of the Europa League.
Should David Gray's men knock out the Danish side, they have been draw against Norwegian side Fredrikstad, with the away tie, once againg being the first leg.
The first leg will be played on Thursday Aug 7th 2025, and the second leg at home on Thursday Aug 14th 2025.
HOWEVER.
Should the men from Easter Road lose the tie to FC Midtjylland, they would drop down to the 3rd Qualifying Round of the Europa Conference League, where they have been drawn against either Partizan Beograd (Serbia) or Ukranian side FC Oleksandriya.
Again, the away tie is first.
Just like the Europa League, the first leg will be played on Thursday Aug 7th 2025, and the second leg at home on Thursday Aug 14th 2025.
HIBERNIAN-MAD VIEW
The Midtjylland tie will be a tough one, but what a carrot the Hibees have been offered if they beat the Danes.
A tie with Fredrikstad would be all that stood between them and Group Stage European football.
The possible Conference League draw has thrown up an interesting couple of possibilities.
Partizan Belgrade is a well known name, but not the power it's been in the past, and a Ukranian side for the first time since we played Dnipro way back in 2006.
