Hibs eye Lewis Morgan loan

Last updated : 07 January 2019 By Steve Forbes

Hibs have this evening been linked with a move for Celtic winger Lewis Morgan.

According to the Scottish Sun, boss Neil Lennon has enquired about taking the former St Mirren wonderkid on loan after the Parkhead club signed Scotland winger Oliver Burke on loan from West Brom.

Hibs winger Martin Boyle has been injured on international duty with Australia, and could be looking at 12 weeks on the sidelines and Lennon is desperate for a replacement.

Lennon is also keen to add pace to his squad and it looks like 22-year-old Morgan is his target.

However, Jack Ross is keen to take his former player to Sunderland, meaning the Hibees face competition for his signature.
