Hibs eye move for Accrington winger Jordan Clark

Last updated : 01 June 2020 By Steve Forbes

Hibs have been linked with a move for Accrington Stanley winger Jordan Clark.

According to the same Daily Record article that linked us with St Johnstone winger Drey Wright, Hibs are also scoping out the former Barnsley kid.

Clark has been in excellent form for Accrington over the last three seasons, making over 150 appearances and scoring 21 goals, playing both League One and League Two in England.

The 26-year-old has played for the likes of Chesterfield and Scunthorpe since leaving Oakwell but seems to have found a home and some form since arriving at Accrington.

Editor's View:

Clark is another one we have not heard of before.

He has played over 250 games in his career, so he has experience, but it has been at League One and League Two level in England.

Could be handle the step-up to the Scottish Premiership?

You only have to look at last summer, when most of former manager Paul Heckingbottom's signings from England flopped in the green and white.

Christian Doidge, Joe Newell and Adam Jackson all eventually turned in to good signings, but they had Championship experience, most of players from lower down the divisions really struglled at Easter Road.
