According to the Scottish Sun, Hibs are eyeing a move for Dunfermline defender Ryan Williamson.
22-year-old Williamson has one year left on his contract, and the Hibees are said to be set to make an offer for the player.
Dunfermline are looking for around £100,000 but Hibs boss Neil Lennon is trying to strike a deal, and may even offer a player in a swap deal.
Lennon is looking for Williamson to come in and challenge Efe Ambrose and Sir David Gray for the right back spot in the green and white.
The Hibees could face competition for his signature, with Dundee Utd having apparently already been "scared off" by the price tag on Williamson's head.
