It's been revealed today that Hibs have taken FC Flora midfielder Mihkel Ainsalu on trial.
The 23-year-old is currently training at East Mains with a view to a January transfer to Easter Road.
Ainsalu has scored 21 goals and contributed 18 assists in 148 games for Flora.
He has been capped 7 times by Estonia, he has also won the Estonian Championship 3 times, the Estonian Cup and the Estonian Super Cup.
Ainsalu stands at 6ft 2in and fits the bill of the bigger physical presence Hibs boss Jack Ross has been looking for to bolster his midfield.
Hibs have already let Josh Vela leave on a free for Shrewsbury and lost Stevie Mallan to injury. So needed to bolster midfield, however, they also re-signed the superb Stephane Omeonga to cover the loss of Mallan.

Ainsalu certainley has a good looking CV and could be a good find by the Hibs recruitment team.
Jack Ross is known to be on the look-out for a powerful defensive midfield player, and going by his stats he fits the bill.
It's now a waiting game to see if he does enough to earn a contract at Easter Road.
