Hibs eye move for Swiss striker Florian Kamberi

Hibs boss Neil Lennon is eyeing a move for Swiss U21 striker Florian Kamberi

Lennon is looking to add to his strikeforce, and it seems the Grasshoppers striker could be heading to Leith on loan.

The 22-year-old, 6ft 3in, striker is on trial at the Hibees East Mains training ground, as he looks to earn a move to the Capital.

Kamberi spent last season on loan with German side Karlsruher and would replace Lithuanian Deivydas Matulevicius, who has been told to find a new club, despite only signing for the Hibees in the summer.

The Hibees have already signed three players, Scott Bain, Jamie Maclaren and Faycal Rherras, all on loan deals, this January transfer window.
