Hibs boss Alan Stubbs is apparently eyeing a move for Norwegian defender Edvard Skagestad.

The 26-year-old right sided defender, who can play right back or centre half is said to currently be training at East Mains, in an attempt to impress the Hibs boss.

Stubbs is looking for a right back as a priority, following the news that David Gray faces 6 weeks on the sidelines.

Skagestad will now be handed the chance to win himself a contract at Easter Road.

He was last contracted to Swedish side IFK Norrkoping, who he joined last January, and has also played for Aalesund in Norway.
