According to a number of tabloid reports, Hibs are eyeing a move for ex Aberdeen winger Niall McGinn.

McGinn is a free agent after leaving Gwangju in South Korea, after a short, unsucessful spell in Asia.

According to the Express, English League One side MK Dons, managed by former Hearts player and manager Robbie Nielson, are at the front of the queue to sign the Northern Ireland international.

However, Hibs manager Neil Lennon is said to be keen to bring the former Celtic youth player to Easter Road.

McGinn, 30, will be keen to get himself a new club, but the Hibees will face competition for his signature, with both Aberdeen and Hearts also keen on the player.

Hibs are said to be keen to bolster their attacking options during the January transfer window, however, McGinn could sign now and would certainly fit the bill.
