Hibs have been blocked off in an attempt to sign young Rangers keeper Robby McCrorie.
The Hibees contacted Rangers about buying the youngster, but were told he was not for sale, and he has instead joined Livingston on loan for the rest of the season.
McCrorie has plenty of experience due to numerous loan deals at the likes of Morton and QoS, as well as representing Scotland at all age levels from U16-U21.
Hibs were hoping to pull of a bit of a coup and sign the talented kid on a permanent deal, but were given no encouragement when contact was made with the Ibrox club
Hearts and Aberdeen have both been linked with moves in the past, but no offers ever appeared.
