Hibs goalkeeper Paddy Martin signs for Falkirk

Last updated : 09 July 2021 By Steve Forbes

Falkirk have this afternoon announced the signing of young Hibs keeper Paddy Martin.

the 22-year-old has signed a two-year-deal at the Falkirk Stadium, having been with the Hibees since singning from St Johnstone in 2016.

Martin has had loan spells with Gala Fairydean and Stenhousemuir over the last few years, and has been understudy to the likes of Adam Bogdan and Ofir Marciano.

It's not clear if Martin was still under contract at Easter Road, and the Hibees have let him go, or if a small fee or sell-on was in any deal.

Another one that's come out the blue.

Paddy was highly rated at Easter Road, but at 22, he maybe thought it was time to get out and get some first-team football.

A good move for the kid.

Good luck Paddy
