Hibs hitman Malonga hit with two game ban

Hibs forward Dominique Malonga has been handed a two game ban following his red card against Alloa in the Scottish Cup 4th Round.

Malonga was given a straight red card following an off the ball incident on Saturday, with the forward sent packing for "violent conduct".

The Congo international will now miss this Saturday's Championship clash with Falkirk, and the Scottish Cup 5th Round clash with Arbroath at Easter Road.

Hibs boss Alan Stubbs is dissapointed with the striker.

He said:

"First of all, Dominique has gone to spin in behind him and the boy's all over him, checking his run. There's been a coming together and Domnique has made contact.

"I think it was a clip, rather than a kick, but whatever it is there's no excuse for it.

"Now, we miss Dominique.

"I've told him, I didn't think he was at it, especially in the second-half. There's no hiding place, we're all in this together. There's no I's, it's we, it's as simple as that. We don't get results as individuals, we get results as teams."
