Hibs keeper Ross Laidlaw out for the season

Last updated : 05 January 2018 By Steve Forbes

It has been revealed today that goalkeeper Ross Laidlaw is out injured for the rest of the season.

Laidlaw went for surgery on a damaged shoulder after he suffered two tears.

It was originally thought the former Raith player had only sprained the joint, but a scan revealed otherwise.

Laidlaw, 25, now faces four months on the sidelines and not playing again until next season.

Hibs have moved quickly to replace him by signing Dundee keeper Scott Bain on loan for the rest of the season.
