Hibs have revealed that they have been given a huge boost in the financial stakes after relegation to the Championship.

The club has managed to land a new shirt sponsorship after their deal with Crabbie's ran out this week.

They have also landed a lucrative sponsorship deal for one of the stands at Easter Road.

Neither deal was officially announced, with both to have official "press releases" over the next few weeks, but new Hibs CEO Leeann Dempster said:

“The commercial team deserve our congratulations for securing a sponsor for our shirts. It shows again the appeal and potential of this club that businesses want to be associated with Hibernian despite the disappointment of last season and relegation.

“Russell Smith and his team have also secured a stand naming deal, which will also generate significant money to help us as we try to rebuild.”
