Hibs have today revealed that they have landed Everton youngster Tom McCready.

The 18-year-old midfielder trained at the Hibees £5m state-of-the-art East Mains training facility at the tail end of last season, and has impressed the Hibees U19 coaches James McDonaugh and Alistair Stevenson enough to land a contract.

McCready will join the Hibees U19 set-up for next season, after SEVEN of last season's side were handed first team contracts after landing an unprecedented treble.

The SPL U19 League, The Scottish Youth FA Cup and the East of Scotland Shield.

McDonaugh was delighted to secure McCready on a contract, after beating off several clubs for his signature, he told the official website, www.hibernianfc.co.uk, :

"When Tom came up last season and trained with the boys that were winning every week it helped to get him to the club. He has a chance; you don't play a few games for Everton Reserves for nothing, so he's got great ability - as do the other boys we have in the squad this year."

Welcome to Hibernian Tom.
