Hibs have been handed a double boost, with the news that two of their players have landed gongs at the Clydesdale Bank Premier League awards dinner in Glasgow.

Striker Steven Fletcher has landed the Young Player of the Year award, the Scotland international having another good season in a Hibs shirt, with 10 goals so far.

Fletcher, 22, also scored his first goal for Scotland, and what turned out to be the winner, against Iceland at Hampden in a 2-1 World Cup Qualifying win.

Also landing an award at the ceremony was captain of Hibs all conquering U19 side, who landed the league & cup double.

Young Sean Welsh was voted U19 Player of the Year.

Congratulations to both.
