Hibs have been handed a late christmas present, with the news the club is due to land small cash windfall, due to player involvement at the last World Cup.

Clubs are handed money on a, pay per day involvement, whilst on international duty at the tournament.

Although Hibs didn't actually have any players involved, they meet the criteria of by which money is distributed to the clubs from the previous
two seasons of players who featured in the finals.

The player in question is "the pitbull" Jorge Claros, who was on loan in Leith for 18 months leading up to the finals.

Hibs have been awarded £17,932.
