According to the Scottish Sun, Hibs have identified Rangers midfielder Greg Docherty as a summer transfer target.
Docherty is currently on loan with English side Shrewsbury Town, and the Hibees have been scouting the former Hamilton kid, who joined the Ibrox side 18 months ago in a £650,000 deal.
The 22-year-old has impressed whilst with the English League One side, so boss Paul Heckingbottom could face competition for his signature.
Rangers have bolstered their midfield with the likes of Glen Kamara and Scott Airfield, pushing Docherty further down the pecking order.
They are also expected to spend big sums in the summer, which could pave the way for the Scotland U21 internationals exit.
